You have to be elected. You also must be an American citizen and 18 years old or older.

What new technology will be important?

A computer; I can help people through e-mail.

What education or training did you have to prepare for this career?

You must go to college. I went to college to be a vet but I took law classes. I did really well. It also took me 3 times to get elected. (9 years!)

What education or training do you recommend for students today who want to enter this field?

The Zonta Club advances the status of women. It provides mentoring for young girls and women.

When you were in high school, did you know that you would enter this field?

No, I went to college to be a vet.
